Kampala is named after an “Impala” antelope, The City “Kasozi Kampala” – meaning – a “Hill of Mpala” is located in the central Buganda Kingdom – a sub-region of Uganda along the Lake Victoria basin, a number of options an available to Explore Uganda and its capital Kampala. Some of the things you will see on a walking tour around Kampala city include the old taxi park, Owino market, local crafts, vegetable, and food markets, the Kabaka’s palace, the Idi Amin torture chambers – Now a 5* Serena Hotel -former Nile Hotel, the Kasubi tombs a UNESCO cultural heritage site, the Kabaka’s lake (It is a man-made lake by the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom), the Hindu temple, Bahai temple, the Gadaffi mosque, Uganda Martyr’s shine, the Catholic & Anglican Cathedrals on different hills, the independence monument, and so many other landmarks.

You could also enjoy some of Uganda’s interesting fast foods, such as the Rolex, Local Luwombo as you visit one of the many restaurants lining the streets of Kampala. Either way, your dining will also be part of the tour. On top of this, you can also visit various night hideouts such as clubs, restaurants, casinos among others of which you can be sure of enjoying yourself all night.

If staying in Entebbe, please request assistance at the time of booking this safari to allow us ample time to make arrangements. If departing Entebbe the same night, please note’ use of road’ returns to Entebbe are always late afternoon (approximately 15h.00/16h00, please DO NOT book flights departing prior to 19h00 or 20h00 respectively in order to allow time for security, check-in, and if any delays due to weather.
